PBL CERTIFICATION

Validate your Project Based Learning proficiency, distinguish yourself as a PBL teacher or school leader, be recognized for the work you’ve accomplished, and impact the PBL community as you connect with Project Based Learning teachers and school leaders across the country.

Prerequisites: Completed PBL Jumpstart, PBL Advanced, and PBL Certification Workshops. At least two years of PBL teaching experience in the classroom, and have completed at least four PBL Units or 16 weeks of PBL implementation.

Mission of Magnify Learning educator PBL Certification:

Establish standards and systems for certifying qualified PBL teachers and school leaders
Provide support for growth and access to networks exclusive to PBL
Engage PBL teachers and school leaders in ongoing professional development

Professional Development Experience

Magnify Learning's Certification process is a voluntary professional track designed by experienced PBL practitioners. Candidates engage in a rigorous and unique process reviewed by expert PBL Certification Reviewers who assess artifacts and submissions using our PBL Certification Checklist.

AFTER COMPLETING THE PBL CERTIFICATION PROCESS, THE TEACHER OR SCHOOL LEADER:

Receives a Magnify Learning Certificate of Completion
Receives a digital badge from Magnify Learning
Grows as a professional and develops new ways to help students learn and achieve
Becomes eligible to facilitate Magnify Learning PBL Workshops (by invitation)
Invited to join Magnify Learning’s community of PBL teachers and leaders across the United States
